WILDWOOD, Mo. — Spectrum, the #1 rural internet provider in the nation*, today announced the launch of Spectrum Internet, Mobile, TV and Voice services to more than 2,000 homes and small businesses in Wildwood, Missouri. The broadband expansion project is a part of a public-private partnership, with the City of Wildwood using funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), along with an investment from Spectrum.

“Spectrum is bringing gigabit broadband to unserved communities across America through a variety of programs including ARPA funding,” said Matt Brown, VP of Construction. “Our investment is making it possible to deliver the high-value broadband, mobile, TV and voice services now available to more people in Wildwood. We are providing local residents and small businesses superior connectivity at highly competitive prices, backed by a team of skilled local technicians and U.S.-based customer service.”

Construction on this project began in summer of 2022 and wrapped up this spring.

“Wildwood is grateful for Spectrum’s dedication to expanding its broadband infrastructure and delivering high-speed connectivity to more resident homes,” said Mayor Jim Bowlin. “Reliable internet is essential to the success of businesses, learners, teachers, seniors, and more and I look forward to the new resources our residents have with this new access to internet.”
